She has over 25 years of experience in the field, working in clinical as well as community settings with individuals and families. She specializes in the areas of weight management, sports nutrition, meal planning, goal setting, and comprehensive nutrition and wellness education to enable individuals to reach and maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle.
I believe good nutrition is an investment in your health and overall wellbeing. This can be accomplished with guided lifestyle changes and the understanding that there are no “quick fixes” to achieve a healthy weight and wellness. Making smart food choices, adopting healthy meal plans, exercising regularly, and controlling stress are important tools to reaching a healthy weight and preventing/managing disease.
When working with clients, I create individualized nutrition plans that fit within their busy lifestyles and budget. Additionally, I respect that eating styles vary, and incorporate food preferences, ethnic and cultural traditions, and health concerns. Together we set achievable goals that will lead to success.
